The Front Office:

Melissa Coles-Bitterman - Melissa was born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley and definitely calls it home. She has spent the past 28 years in Dental Office Management. Fifteen of those years were spent working for Drs. Jensen & Washut and upon their retirement Dr Kelly. She enjoys seeing the familiar patients and welcoming the new patients. "It is a pleasure to work in a friendly, professional environment where the team's goal is to always put the patient's needs first, deliver quality dental care and provide excellent patient service".

Martin Hughley -- Martin was born in Everett, WA. He grew up in Lake Stevens, WA. He and his wife moved to Wenatchee in 2006 to be closer to their daughter, and her husband and two children. Martin has worked in the dental field for 12 years and enjoys the time he spends with patients.

Becky Esparza - Rebecca was raised in Quincy and graduated high school in 2002. She then moved to Seattle were she attended Bellevue Community College and started working at Starbucks. She moved back to Wenatchee in 2003. Rebecca worked at Starbucks here in Wenatchee for 7 years. In 2009 she attended the Dental Assisting Training Center. In June 2009 she joined the Wenatchee Dental team where you can find her throughout the office. She is an assistant to the hygienists and the doctors and she is also up front helping with scheduling and answering the phone. Rebecca and her husband Leo have been married for 4 years. They enjoy working on projects around their house, spending time with family and friends, and camping.

Valerie Aaron - Valerie and her husband of 25 years, Blane, moved to the Wenatchee area after graduating from Central Washington University in 1986. They have made Cashmere their home since 1990 where they raised their two daughters Hanna and Halli. Valerie is an avid reader and has been a member of her book group the "Wahldeans" since 1998. She has a fantastic organic garden, 7 cats, 6 chickens and a daschund named Poppie! Valerie also enjoys cooking and trying new vegetarian recipes. She has worked in dentistry in administrative positions for 6 years. She loves interacting with patients of all ages and developing relationships with them through honesty and humor. "I am excited to be a member of the Wenatchee Dental staff. The best dental team ever!"

Annette Anderstrom - Annette and her husband Ross recently moved to the Wenatchee Valley from Apple Valley, Minnesota. They have been married for 29 years and have lived all over the country but fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and are happy to be settled in Wenatchee. Annette has been in the dental field since 2000. After experiencing Dr. Kelly and Dr. Edwards and their staff as a patient, she was so impressed with their caring professionalism; she wanted to become a part of their friendly dental team herself! She and her husband love exploring the area, hiking the beautiful trails, and checking out local restaurants.

Martie Nielsen -- Martie has been involved in various aspects of dentistry since 1973. She has a broad spectrum of training, which includes dental assisting, lab technician and business office. She and her husband, Gerald, have been married 27 years and have 3 grown children, one daughter that is college bound and 7 grandchildren. Martie’s spare time activities include gym time, gardening and her special pug, Bailey. She also enjoys spending time with her family at Lake Chelan during the summer.

Assistants:

Nadine Wullner - Nadine is the newest addition to Wenatchee Dental, but already feels right at home. She initially got started in Orthodontics and has been in Dentistry for 8 years. “I feel fortunate to have had ‘hands on’ learning alongside some terrific Doctors.” I’m thrilled to be working with Dr. Edwards – his down to earth demeanor, and commitment to patients receiving the best of care is above and beyond. Nadine’s background experiences include training horses, chartering private jets and general construction. She spends her free time riding/showing her horse, road biking and spending time with her fiancé Shawn.

Lori Tarver - Lori graduated from Cashmere High School in 1984. Upon graduation she moved to Bellevue, WA to attend Puget Sound Institute. of Technology and received her Dental Assisting Certificate in 1986. Lori has been an assistant for 20 years and absolutely loves the aspects of knowing that she is a part of making someone feel better or making them smile. Some of Lori’s special friendships have started off with them being a patient of hers or another team member. What makes her the happiest are her 4 children; Ashley, Nick, Dylan and Garrett. In her spare time, Lori is usually at the kid’s school functions or sporting events in which she is their #1 fan. Her hobbies include tennis, boating, fishing, camping or just movies and popcorn with the kids.

Patti Irish -- Patti was born and raised in Wenatchee. She received her dental assistant certification from Seattle Central Community College in 1976. Patti enjoys the responsibilities of being an expanded duties assistant. She feels it’s very important that every patient should be heard so that his or her dental needs can be met. It’s important to Patti that patients realize that excellent dental care can be affordable and obtainable in a comfortable atmosphere. Patti and her husband Rich enjoy riding their Goldwings in the summer and their snowmobiles in the winter.

Nicole Cue - Nicole is originally from Alaska and moved to the Wenatchee area in 1995. She graduated from WHS and then attended Lakeview Medical Center in Seattle and completed their dental assistant program. Nicole has been a dental assistant for 10 years and recently joined the awesome team at Wenatchee Dental. She enjoys helping people smile and building relationships with the patients.

Angie Zamudio -- Angie has called the Wenatchee Valley home since 2000. She has two children, Anthony and Ally. Her past times include spending time with friends and family, anything to do with sun and water! She also loves volunteering with her children's school and being a constant cheerleader at their sporting events. She joined Dr. Kelly and staff in 2007.

Hygienists:

Resa Green Glessner -- Resa was raised in Chelan and received her Dental Hygiene degree from Yakima Valley College. She has practiced dental hygiene since 1973. Resa feels fortunate to have chosen a career where she has the opportunity to work closely with other professionals and patients. Resa likes to share information with her patients that will enhance their dental experience and oral health. She and her husband, Kerry, continue to live in the Chelan area, along with their yellow lab Bella and cat Maggie. They have two grown children, John and Amelia.

Kathy Jeffery -- Kathy grew up in Wenatchee and attended Wenatchee Valley College. She received her dental hygiene degree from Yakima Valley Community College. She began working for her family dentist while she was in high school. She started working for Dr. Kelly in 1996. Her husband Brad works for Eagle Transfer and she has a son, Brian. She enjoys helping each patient realize their full potential in attaining optimum oral health.

Kathy Shae -- Kathy grew up in the Wenatchee and graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BS degree in dental hygiene. She practiced dental hygiene in Mount Vernon for 8 years prior to moving back to Wenatchee in 1996. She worked with Dr. Nielsen for 12 years before joining the staff at Wenatchee Dental. Kathy is excited to be part of a kind, caring dental team that is committed to helping patients achieve the healthiest smile possible. In her free time, Kathy enjoys mountain biking and spending time with her husband, Jim and two sons, Dakota and Carter.

Lacy Moen-- Lacy grew up in the Wenatchee Valley and attended Yakima Valley College, where she graduated with honors, majoring in associates of science and dental hygiene. Lacy has been a part of the Wenatchee Dental team since February 2008. She is up to date on all the current technology, skills and practices in dental hygiene and enjoys teaching each patient about their oral health. Lacy and her husband, Scott, enjoy anything outdoors, being with family and playing with their daughters, Addison and Lyla.

Chelsie Hamilton -- Chelsie grew up in the Wenatchee valley and attended Columbia Basin College, where she graduated with an associate’s degree in both health science and dental hygiene. After working in Seattle for a couple of years Chelsie was very excited to have moved back to the beautiful valley. “I feel very fortunate to work with such passionate and committed staff, all focused on bringing out the healthiest beautiful smile in each patient.” Chelsie and her husband Chad enjoy all of the out-door activities this valley has to offer including; hiking, traveling, and summers in Lake Chelan. Chelsie loves spending and free time with family and her puppy Duke.

Lisa Stanton - Lisa grew up in the Wenatchee Valley. She has her Bachelors degree in biology from Pacific Lutheran University and her dental hygiene degree from Columbia Basin College. She and her husband Nick have two boys, Benjamin and Casey. Lisa is a traditional and restorative hygienist and she does both cleanings and fillings at our office. She enjoys working with children and works at a pediatric office as well. Lisa loves being active and enjoys staying in shape, both indoors and out!
