Dr. Nielsen began his career as a General Dentist in Wenatchee after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1966. He spent the next 42 years providing quality, caring dental treatment to the residents of North Central Washington communities. In 2008, the opportunity to join Dr. Kelly and Dr. Edwards in their beautiful, modern facility became available. Associating with them allows Dr. Nielsen to continue providing care to his patients on a reduced schedule, while assuring them that, in his absence, needed treatment can be provided by the outstanding dentists and staff available in the manner in which they are accustomed.
Dr. Nielsen’s family includes his wife, Martie, four children, Paige, Jamie, Jill and Brynn along with seven grandchildren. His youngest daughter, Brynn, will enter college in the fall of 2009.
Dr. Nielsen enjoys golf, spending time at Lake Chelan and other outside activities. He is looking forward to more traveling, especially in the cold winter months.
