Meet Dr. Nelson
“Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Chelan where he developed a strong appreciation for the beauty of North Central Washington. He graduated from Chelan High School as Salutatorian in 2006. Following high school, he received his undergraduate degree from Whitworth University, majoring in Biology and minoring in Biochemistry and Spanish.
In August 2011 Dr. Nelson began his Dental School training at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and graduated in June 2015; awarded with the American College of Prosthodontists Senior Award and the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics Excellence Award. Upon completion of his Doctorate in Dental Surgery he accepted a one year residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Boise, Idaho with special emphasis in Prosthodontics, Sedation Dentistry, and Implant Placement.
Dr. Nelson is passionate about dentistry and is thrilled to be back home serving patients of the greater Wenatchee Valley and beyond. He loves spending time with his family in Washington. When not with family, an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fly fishing, hunting, basketball, and spending time on the great lakes and rivers in the area.
Dr. Nelson was a member of the High Desert Sage Study Club, Precision Dental Study Club, and the Southwest Idaho Dental Society while practicing in Boise, Idaho. Now back in Washington he has joined the North Central Washington Implant Study Club, while holding memberships in Phelan Dental Occlusion Design, and the American Dental Association. He also attends several continuing education classes and seminars each year.”
